Low Viscosity (70, 90): Used in lightweight hair care, skin care, and moisturizing products.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Used in formulations that require more intense treatments or applications, such as medical creams, ointments, and industrial lubricants.

Mineral Oil Uses (Viscosity Types)

Cleaning
Low Viscosity (70, 90): Can be used as a solvent or base lubricant in cleaning products and formulations, helping to remove dirt and grease.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Used for industrial applications such as protecting metal surfaces from rust or providing machinery lubrication.

Cosmetics
Low Viscosity (70, 90): Mineral Oil 70 is used in makeup removers and cleansers to dissolve makeup easily. Mineral Oil 90 can be used in creams and body oils for its ability to provide a hydrating barrier.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Used in lip balms and heavier moisturizers to create longer lasting barriers for treating chapped or dry skin.

Nutritional Supplements
Low Viscosity (70, 90): Used in the encapsulation of vitamins that are fat-soluble or additional active ingredients.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Not widely used in nutritional supplements.

Personal Care
Low Viscosity (70, 90): In personal care products, mineral oil 70 provides a smooth texture by locking in moisture. Mineral oil 90, being slightly thicker, is used to provide longer-lasting hydrating effects for creams, lotions, and sunscreens.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Used with products that target dry skin or damaged hair, such as hand balms and foot creams.

Pharmaceuticals
Low Viscosity (70, 90): Used as bases in pharmaceutical-grade creams and ointments.

High Viscosity (210, 390): Preferred when a long-lasting barrier is needed to protect the skin. Often used in medical ointments that treat skin issues such as psoriasis and eczema.
